University Parking Permits are required while on our campus. Summer student quarterly parking permits are now available and may be purchased either at Warren Hall 1st floor cashier’s office or in the Pioneer Bookstore. Quarterly permits are $60.00 and are not valid until the first day of summer classes. The minimum parking citation fine at California State University, East Bay is $30.00.
These parking permits are only valid in general (student) lots. Be sure upon entering the parking lot you that you have read the red and black sign stating what parking lot you are entering and be sure the sign reads general (student) lot. By doing this it will save you the hassle of having to contest a citation and the frustration of receiving a ticket. A student-parking permit is only valid in a staff lot after 5 P.M. A student will be cited accordingly if found in a staff lot before 5 P.M.
Students, employees, and visitors may purchase a single day permit at a dispenser for $5. The dispensers are located in parking lots E2, G, K, N and in the kiosk on the right side as you come up Harder Rd. Daily permits are only valid in general lots. After 5 P.M., these permits are valid in staff lots.
Staff and employee permits may be purchased through Warren Hall 1st floor cashier’s office and may be paid by cash or payroll reduction if you qualify.
These permits may be obtained though University Parking Services in ST-130.
If you are a contractor or visitor that will be parking on our campus for a length of time, please make sure your department acquires a parking pass for you.
