Sexual Harassment Training
As a result of a recent Internal Audit finding, we are required to expand
our mandatory training efforts for all employees. On November 2, 2004,
all employees were advised to take CSU's On-Line Sexual Harassment Training
by November 15, 2004. Our records indicate that many employees have not
yet taken the Training. Below is a link to the web-site for your convenience.
If you have not yet taken the Training, please log on to the site, if
you have taken the Training and submitted your certificate to Human Resources,
please disregard this message.
Web-site: http://www.calstate.edu/gc/AntiSexualHarassmentTraining/sh-page1.shtml
(you will need to copy and paste this address or type this address into
the address line of the web browser).
The Training will take no more than 15 minutes.
At the end of the Training you can print out a certificate showing that
you have completed the training. Please print out the certificate (please
print out both pages as there is a glitch that sometimes prevents your
name from appearing on the certificate and the second page will reflect
your name), sign it, have your manager sign it and turn it in at a question
and answer session. Alternatively, you can send it to Myrtle Brown in
Human Resources, WA615.
To protect the University and your interests, you need to take the on-line
Sexual Harassment Training. And, if you elect not to take the Training,
you may be barred from indemnification and/or defense by CSUEB should
you be accused of discrimination, harassment or retaliation.
