Online Safety Orientation Required For All CSUEB Employees
In an effort to comply with the Injury and Illness Prevention
Program training requirement, all employees are required to complete an
online Safety Orientation training module. Failure to complete the required
training may result in stiff fines and penalties levied against the university
by Cal-OSHA. If you completed the on-site Injury and Illness Prevention
training session offered earlier this year, then you are not required to
complete the online version of Safety Orientation training program.
To launch the online Safety Orientation module, do the following:
- Start your browser. Use Internet Explorer, if possible.
- If you are using pop-up blocking software you will need to disable
it for this web site. Failure to disable the pop-up blocker may prevent
the program from operating correctly.
- Point your browser to http://www.aba.csueastbay.edu/ClarityNet45/.
- Enter your NetID in lowercase and password. Next, press the ENTER key
- Left click on the ClarityNet TM Courses.
- Locate "Safety-Required" from the list of titles.
- Left click on "Safety-Required"
- Left click on "Safety Orientation".
- Begin by clicking on Introduction. This action will begin your training
session. To advance to the next screen, click the NEXT button located
at the top of the screen.
If you have any questions or problems with this training program, you may contact the ITS Service Desk at servicedesk@csueastbay.edu.
