Religion
Discrimination and harassment on the basis of religion
is illegal as with other protected categories. Religion includes all aspects of religious observance and practice, as well
as belief, and accordingly, students, employees and applicants for school or
employment are entitled to reasonable accommodation of their religious
observances or practices, like individuals with disabilities.
As with other forms of discrimination, complaints of religious
discrimination, harassment and retaliation can be directed to the Director of Equity and Diversity.
In addition, requests for religious reasonable accommodation can be
brought to the Director, Equity and Diversity.
